It doesn’t seem possible, but yesterday marked our 8th month on the road!
After spending 9 days in Santa Elena/Monteverde we left on the 29th. On the way down the mountain we passed a large landslide that was being cleared. We had good weather for pics.
We stopped outside of Cañas at Safaris Corobici with plans to bird the nearby reservoir – but we never did. Instead we took a 2-hour boat tour – safari – of a couple of nearby rivers. Got a look at birds and wildlife.
We spent a couple of night at Safaris Corobici. The owners, a Swiss couple, were very nice. The morning of our second day we hired a taxi to take us to a nearby waterfall that is billed as one of Costa Rica’s best. It was impressive.
