Our hotel called a car service for us – US$11 to the bus terminal. We could have taken the Metro and then walked a bit, but the thought of us and our bags on the crowded Metro was too frightening to seriously consider. There are a lot of buses in Mexico.  Buses are what most Mexicans use to travel between cities.  The Autobuses del Norte terminal in Mexico City is a big as an airport in a small city in the US. Our bus left from the far end of the terminal – naturally.  Fare was US$2 back to San Juan Teotihuacan to pick up the camper.
